I really want a little interac truck to follow me around. No, there wouldn't be any money in it but I just love that little truck with it's windshield wipers and it's beeper. I think life would be just so much funner with a mini armoured truck following me around.

Yuck

I hate being sick.
I don't think I"m all that wimpy when it comes to being sick. Mind you, it's not my favorite thing in the world but I've usually been able to continue on and stick it out. Lately however that's not been the case. I feel like when I get sick my entire body just goes on strike: everything hurts and I am incredibly weak.
I've got a cold. And I've known several other people who've had it but they were all able to make it to classes and continue on with whatever they needed to do. I however was so weak this morning I couldn't even get out of bed.
Anyways, just wanted to state that it sucks. And now I'll stop complaining and go back to my juice.

Laundry Dilemma!

Ok. So. A white and black striped t-shirt. Do you wash it with the whites or the darks? I don't know. Conundrum.

Back from blogger vacation!

Ok... so longest hiatus ever!
I'm back! Sorry: things got super busy and with the one person I know of who actually reads this being in the same province as me for so long there was really no point.
Anyways... recap.
H4H trip = good. Drama. Small crisis. All manageable.
H4H in General = pretty much over. I'm sad and don't want to be done but it's time for bigger and better things right?
Speaking of bigger and better... this morning I booked flights to Gliwice Poland for a Habitat for Humanity Global Village trip this summer as well as a trip to Ireland. I am thrilled and super nervous as well. Can't wait to tell you all about it!
School = super super busy. Wrote about 10,000 words just last week. Only 2 papers and 4 exams from graduation though!
Unfortunately, that's about all my life consists of... someday I will have more. I promise.
Ohhh oh Dave!'s been here! Which made me incredibly happy. Incredibly sad to see him go though. But it was very good to see him. Ya don't realize how much you've missed someone till ya see them again.
Alrighty, that's the update from the month long blog vacation!

Stupid sick!
Ah well, I'm feeling actually quite well. Unlike the other H4H co-chair who's been bed ridden for a day now. Here's hoping tomorrow bring health!
Anyways, this is my note to tell ya to have a great first week of March! I'm off on Saturday and tomorrow will provide no time for blogging. So yes... have a great week! :) Tell ya all about the trip via my twitter posters!

Movie Mania

Yesterday was my personal movie day.
But FIRST, Slumdog Millionare = amazing! Hence all the awards it's won. I think I can confidently say it's the best movie I've seen in years and I don't usually give movies "best" labels. I also really enjoyed the soundtrack too.

And onto yesterday. Yesterday was romantic movies that make me cry day: The Break-up (ok that didn't make me cry and it actually wasn't all that good) and neither did Vicky Cristina Barcelona (though it was quite unique) but P.S. I love you and Love Actually sure as hell did.

Curse Islander and his gf for telling me I had to watch P.S. I Love You - I cried the whole way through it. However, I'm going to go to Ireland and find me an irishman cause oh dear. ;)
Actually I think I am going to Ireland. I found a relatively good price for a tour so I'm thinking of staying after the H4H trip in Poland to spent a week in Ireland. I figure since I'm over there and it's extremely cheap to get from one place to another I might as well. Ya only live once right?

Ok. Since the research books I needed to work today are still in the library and the library is closed due to collosal snowfall... I'm going to watch movies again... but less sad ones this time.

The Saturday Student

Seapower paper - the co-operate effort of the British and U.S in the convoy system won the First World War. I can argue that... I think.

Still without a topic for my Homefronts during WWI class thought...

Worst feeling in the world = realizing that someone you'd hoped would be your friend for a long time isn't going to be... and its a frienship that's pretty much over now.

MC and I are going to see Slumdog Millionaire tonight. I'm not usually one to jump on bandwagons of popular movies that win tons of awards but I think I'm going to make an exception for this one!
