30 seconds... and go!

Ok. So blogging apparently takes about 10 minutes every once in awhile and I'm having a very hard time finding that time...

I've started work. It's demanding, there's a lot to learn and the expectations are very high but I really like it.

I'm finding it incredibly exhausting though and the schedule very difficult to adjust to but I'm really hoping it'll get easier!

It's really amazing what you realize isn't worth your time though when you have so little of it. Like checking websites I usually check daily or updating this or facebook and tv.

And that brings me to the end. Supper time! :)

Welcome to my life

So there continues to be nothing new and exciting to report. I've been spending my time reading, baking, cleaning as well as the usual frustrating and unsuccessful job things.

I had a bit of a melt down over it all the other day but I'm trying to just be okay with it all and accept things the way they are. I have a roof over my head and a bed to sleep in and Mom feeds me so who cares if bill collectors want money?! Lol. Well I do care a bit but I'm aware that freaking out isn't going to do anything about it so I'm trying not to.

I'm really trying to just take care of me for a bit. Losing some weight, getting healthy and in shape and learning to love me. I'm really excited about it cause I've already seen some success and that's the best motivator!

This week could mean a job (I'm waiting to hear back) and it does have some excitement planned (the exhibition's in town, a doctor's appt and a little brother birthday party!) so maybe things won't be as dull! Here's hoping!

Annndddd... back!

Well... I decided that I should keep up the blog. I keep thinking of all these things to share and then I remember I wasn't doing that anymore. Sooo I'm back. And hey, you missed me right?

Sooo let's see if we can sum up life shortly.

1. Poland was absolutely amazing; for all the details visit hfhpoland2009.blogspot.com and the pictures will soon be up on Flikr.
2. Still unemployed.
3. Getting stressed.
4. Got my first call from someone asking for money - a little frightening.
5. Going back to school this year. Just to take three courses over the year. Working on my Teaching English as a Second Language Certificate.
6. And unless I get an awesome job here before next fall I hope to be off to Japan or Korea to teach for a bit.
7. I miss my friends incredibly. So lonely and depressed about that one... really wish I was going back to classes with them all. Or visiting them across the country.
8. Life's pretty boring... I clean and bake a lot and sleep a lot and apply for a lot of jobs.

Guess that's life. Nothing too awesome but I'll share whatever interesting comes up!

And they lived happily ever after... the end.

I'm considering the end of my blog. I've discovered I've just got too many things on the go and I barely have time to keep it up when I'm unemployed and bored let alone when I am employed and busy.
So alas my friends the end has come. I've enjoyed this whole blogging thing and it's been a good way to vent and keep everyone up to date but I think it's time for more creative and healthier communication with friends and family.
If you wanna know what's up, gimme a shout, send me an email. I'd love to hear from you!

It's been fun! :)

13 sleeps and counting...

Things are in the works for the best trip of life! Money is all set aside for it (rent is another story...). I'm really getting excited!

In less exciting news... I've applied for many jobs and haven't heard back from anyone... it's incredibly discouraging. Here's hoping it gets better.

In good news... I saw a doctor today who said my other doctor who diagnosed a possibility of MS was crazy and that it was definitely not that. So yay! Now I'm just clumsy and accident prone and not actually ill.

Anyways, I'm watching episodes of Mental so I'm gonna get back to it! Tootles!

End of a good time

Alors, nous avons fini notre experience en Montréal. Je suis vraiment triste de quitter cette belle ville and les persones que j`ai recontré pendant ma visite. D`accord, je sais que vous ne pouviez pas comprendre alors je vais changer à l`anglais.

It`s over. I had a really hard time saying goodbye to some people. Especially being aware that`s its unlikely I`ll ever see most of them again but it`s been an amazing experience. I love Montréal and I am so happy I did this. At first I was hesitant but now I can`t believe I ever questioned coming. I like the city so much I`m even job and apartment hunting! Probably won`t come for a few months as I need to make a bit of money first but it`s certainly in my plans. Thinking of maybe not doing social next year either but instead taking a year of French here... but we`ll see how much more I can learn on my own.

Sooo now that this adventure has come to end, another is soon to begin. Poland is three weeks away and I can`t wait. I`ve got a fundraiser planned for next weekend that'll hopefully allow me to not be to in debt when there and get some expenses paid off. Pretty excited.

Anyways, I've got a book here (a french one!!) that I can read and I've only got another hour and a half to kill before the train ride home so I'm gonna jet. Take care all! :)

Kids say the darnest things

My little brother's friend got a new kitten. It's a girl and it's the similar type as my cat. My brother suggested that my cat and his friends cat mate. My mother informed him that my cat couldn't make kittens and brother replied: "Well they can just do it for fun!".
